This is the Town of Crawford water district calling with an important announcement. We recently had unauthorized use of our fire hydrants which caused the water to become discolored and rusty. We have already flushed several lines clearing up much of the problem. This Thursday July 7^th, we will be flushing Holland Avenue, Main Street, Center Street, and Hueg Place. If you experience discoloring after the flushing please open an outside faucet and run it until the water clears before doing any laundry or running any inside faucets. If you have any further questions please call the water department at 744-2515. As a further update we hope to have our new filtration system for the entire hamlet in place by September 1^st.
